All great suggestions for a landing page, but it's missing one thing: the element of surprise. If every landing page used this formula, the internet would look pretty boring. I would argue that in some cases, an unusual design and/or feature on a landing page could be more effective than following a formula. But this is a great tool for designers and developers to use as a conversation-starter with their clients.

What font is it that is used in this infographic? I can't put a finger on it but I absolutely love it.

http://wpshower.com/ has a lot of free WordPress themes that is very similar but i agree with Katy, too much of the same is never a good thing... It's a fine balance on a corporate website to be familiar but yet original.

Ah, thank you so much, Victor. If it's not, it is similar enough!

Us type nerds will say that gotham was the reason Obama won the election, he used it frequently during his campaign...Im not sure but I think its a fairly new typeface from around 2001 printed first in an article in FHM, but i might be wrong...
